Once again, the team of professionals of Ovobank – the first Egg Bank in Europe – has attended the annual meeting organized by the ESHRE, the most important international event in the assisted reproduction sector. This year, the annual meeting of the ESHRE (European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology) took place on July 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Milan, Italy, where it brought together thousands of reproductive medicine professionals from all over the world.
Ovobank has been present as an exhibitor at booth D03 offering free demonstrations to all attendees interested in deepening in the technique of oocyte devitrification. It also presented its innovative technologies developed by its R&D&I team, such as its special containers, the Ovomatch facial recognition app, as well as its tracking and monitoring systems for cell delivery: Ovotracker, Ovolabel and Ovoscan.
During the event, the CEO of Ovobank, Enrique Criado, had the honor of presenting in the room dedicated to professional conferences, the study “Application of a single Universal warming protocol for vitrified donor oocytes: A prospective, multicenter study”. A study presenting the solutions to perform the oocyte devitrification technique and highlighting several aspects to be taken into account such as control and laboratory conditions when carrying out this procedure. As well as the follow-up and compliance with protocols, a fact that has a direct impact on oocyte survival rates. This study was conducted by Enrique Criado (CEO), Daniel Sosa (Medical Director), Cristina González (Laboratory Director), Paloma Troncoso (Embryologist) and Abraham Zavala (Assisted Reproduction Specialist).
